Field Trips

Thomas Learning Centers offer field trips for children aged 5 years and older to enhance learning and to provide the children an opportunity to interact with the world around them. The kids may visit a museum or go to the park. They also enjoy bowling and roller skating.

We emphasize "in-house" field trips in order to include children of all ages. Some examples are visits by guest speakers, gymnasts, dancers, computer instructors and naturalists who bring in a variety of animals. The children especially love the animals!

We also present drama productions and martial arts instruction and bring in magicians and puppeteers who delight the children with their astonishing talents!

For field trips outside our Centers, parents are notified in advance and each child must have parental permission to attend. Out-of-Center field trips are limited to 3 hours and we venture only to places that allow for supervision of all children at all times. Parents are always welcome to tag along!
